Kyrylo Yermakov (@klik0k0) is among the international artists who reached out to NOCF in support of this Ukrainian refugee relief raffle. He was born in Ukraine and, although he now lives in Canada, he has family that still live in Kyiv.  The Ukrainian refugee crisis is very personal to him.
 
Kyrylo chose to donate several pieces to the raffle, but this one is perhaps the most poignant of his submissions. Here are Kyrylo’s thoughts on the creation of the scene:
 
“This diorama was built a few months ago. The idea behind this diorama is to show the viewer the stupidity of the war, destruction, hopelessness, and real victims of the current wars - our kids, our future generation. Little did I know that just another month after I have finished that piece, my country would be torn down by the war...”
